Rare Beauty's Positive Light Concealer launched in 2024 to considerable hype, riding the wave of the brand's iconic Soft Pinch Blush. After two months of daily testing, here's my honest assessment.

What It Is

A medium-coverage liquid concealer with a brightening, skin-like finish. Available in 48 shades. Retails for $25. Key ingredients include niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and Selena Gomez's signature lotus extract.

How It Performs

The coverage is medium — it covers dark circles and mild redness but won't fully conceal deep hyperpigmentation or significant blemishes without building up. The finish is beautiful: a natural, brightening glow that makes the under-eye area look rested rather than covered.

Wear time is 6-8 hours before creasing becomes visible under the eyes.

Final Verdict

Rare Beauty Positive Light Concealer is a solid, well-formulated concealer at a fair price. It doesn't quite match the innovation of the Soft Pinch Blush, but it's a reliable everyday option. For full coverage needs, I'd reach for NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer instead.
